'On the Town' hits home!

This month Tommy and I had the chance to see this brand new 1940's revival featuring Leonard Bernstein music with songs like the theme of my business,

"New York, New York it's a Hellava Town"! 

If you remember from the movie (I don't think anyone is old enough to have seen this one on Broadway before) three sailors on a 24 hour leave in New York City have an amazing adventure dancing and singing their way through NY on a mission of fun and excitement. 

On The Town is just good clean fun with fabulous dancing choreographed by Joshua Bergasse, new to Broadway but just did the hit TV series "Smash".  Costumes and sets are out of this world and I must mention Megan Fairchild who plays Ivy Smith is a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet and she is truly amazing as are Tony Yazbeck as Gabey, Jay Armstrong Johnson as Chip and Clyde Alves as Ozzie! 

Come and see a very talented group of young actors, dances and singers!  Simply a delightful show!
