Summer in New York

I recently took a trip to New York with some girl friends. We had 'the coolest experience' at the "Minus 5 Degrees Ice Bar" in the Hilton on 6th Avenue.  It's a great spot to cool down on a hot day after walking through Central Park.  It's a bit touresty, but worth the trip at least once in your life!  

We toured the newly opened 9/11 Museum which is an absolute work of art!  Every American needs to experience this breathtaking tribute for the lives lost and the heroes memorialized on this most notorious day in recent history!  I will be planning a return visit and you will all be invited.  (View 9/11 Bus Trip here)

Watch for information in my upcoming newsletters.  Of course I had to take the girls to a few of my favorite shows!  One night we split up and some saw "Rocky" which was a big hit. I went with "Once" which is an old favorite and I wanted to see the new cast.  Of course, Steve Kazee and Cristin Molioti are my absolute favorites but Paul Alexander Nolan and Jessie Fisher were not too shabby as Guy and Girl! We all went to see "If/Then" with Idina Menzel and it was my second time.  I had seen it in early previews and loved it but all I can say is WOW to the voices in this powerful show!  WOW to the message in this thought provoking show.  And WOW Idina, you did it again!
