Carol's Review - Dr. Zhivago

"Somewhere My Love . . .  " Do you remember the movie? 

Entranced and mesmerized are the two words that come to mind while experiencing Doctor Zhivago on Broadway.  I felt the essence of Les Miserables!  Add in much more romance and passion plus the modern technology of scenic design, lighting, and cinematography, a musical score that touches your heart and soul and blend together with a powerful cast to create, what I believe to be, a musical to captivate Broadway for many many years with Dr. Zhivago. 

Set in the turbulent Russian WWI revolution it's the story of Yuri Zhivago, a physician and poet who truly loves his wife and family but his passion is for Lara the woman who inspires the beautiful poetry he is famous for. 

This one gets my full four stars!  I'm going back, again and again!
